From Witch Doctor to Church Planter: Django’s Journey of Transformation
Many of you will remember the story we shared almost three years ago about Django—a former witch doctor who had a miraculous encounter with Christ. After giving his life to Jesus, Django made a bold and public declaration of his new faith by burning all his idols after his baptism. That moment became a powerful picture of the Gospel breaking through darkness in his village and beyond.
Since then, Django has remained a faithful member of The Solution Church, where he has been discipled and steadily grown in his faith. It hasn’t been an easy journey—he gave up his former livelihood, reputation, and influence—but his perseverance and joy in Christ have never wavered.
Now, we’re excited to share that The Solution Church is helping Django plant a new church in his home community—one that previously had no believers. Recently, they showed the Jesus Film in the village, and Django shared his testimony. It was incredible to see neighbors who once feared him stand to acknowledge the undeniable change in his life—a true testimony to Christ’s transforming power.
We’re thankful for the faithful ministry of The Solution Church and celebrate how God is using Django’s story to bring hope and light where darkness once ruled.
