6° Initiative team member, James Roberts, shares how he loves it when new believers grow not only as disciples, but also develop in their leadership. One story that continues to encourage him is the story of one of our young leaders at Grace church named Raphael.
Raphael's story is one of courage and faith. Despite being the son of a witch doctor, his encounter with a dream after a virtual prayer walk led him to church the next day. From that moment on, he embraced Christ, got baptized, and began his journey of discipleship under Pastor Roger's guidance.
What's even more incredible is how Raphael's faith has flourished. He's taken on more responsibility and recently initiated the revival of the soccer ministry at Grace. With passion, he gathers the guys from his village every Wednesday and Friday for soccer and meaningful discussions about Jesus, the Bible, and the hope of the gospel.
The impact of his outreach has been remarkable, with several young players now attending church regularly. Just a few weeks ago, we witnessed Raphael sharing the New Testament with some of these young soccer enthusiasts. His dedication and faithfulness continue to amaze us, bringing immense joy to all who work alongside him.

Suzanne is back from her stateside assignment and has recently reconnected with Ahoefa, an inspiring soul on fire for the Lord. Her dedication to the Timothy Training Initiative (TTI) is awe-inspiring, and she's making remarkable progress. It's heartwarming to witness her growth and passion for deepening her faith.
But that's not all—Ahoefa's heart beats for evangelism, and she's filled with zeal to share the love of Christ with those around her. She's requested our partnership, inviting us to join her and her Titus' for weekly evangelism outreach. This fills our hearts with joy, knowing that together, we can be instruments, spreading the hope and love of Jesus in the lives of others.

Ashley Freeman is bursting with pride as she shares the incredible journey of Bernadette with us! This spunky kid has grown into an amazing young teen, and her transformation is truly inspiring.
Once known for her bit of attitude, Bernadette's heart is now on fire for the Lord! Her passion for sharing the gospel with her friends at school is infectious, and she does it regularly. She's relentless in her prayers for the salvation of her dad, believing that God's love will touch his heart.
This quarter, Bernadette has stepped into leadership with boldness. At church, she's taken on the responsibility of teaching the verse, and oh, does she do it with passion! Her dedication to God's Word is inspiring, and she's helping others dive deeper into their faith.
This summer Bernadette will be teaching her very first Bible story at camp. Can you imagine the impact she'll make on those young hearts as she shares the love of God through His Word?
Moments like these remind us of the power of God's transforming love. Bernadette's journey is a testament to how God can use even the spunkiest souls to spread His light and touch lives.

Jenna Roberts shares how attending church is impacting the next generation: “After church one Sunday at Way of Christ, these kids asked for a ride back to their family compound. As we drove, their joyful voices filled the air with the songs they learned in church that morning. When we arrived, I helped the little ones out of the truck and noticed a stone idol outside their compound, a stark reminder of the darkness this village faces. But seeing the kids bounce and skip away, filled with the good news of Jesus, brought me immense joy.
Each of them now carries that light into their homes, and my prayer is for every family represented to come to know the Lord.”
Will you join us in praying that these precious children will share the hope and love of Jesus with their families?

Team member Azlyn McCarthy shares an incredible experience she recently had: “By using my French skills from Togo in the States, I was able to support Jonito, a Beninese man who recently moved here. He wanted to join one of my supporting churches but lacked confidence in his English. After the membership interview with the church elders, I stepped in to coach them on ways to better support and integrate Jonito into the church community.”
It’s exciting to see how the Lord uses ALL things for good as He draws people closer to Him, isn’t it?!?

Our latest resident, Savannah Boggess, shares about her journey to becoming a resident in Togo:
”Hello, my name is Savanna, and I will be going to Togo for 2 years for the residency program. I have been 100% funded since the end of May! I began officially fundraising in January of this year, and over these last few months God has grown me in trusting in His plan and in His timing. When I first arrived at the Converge IMD Assessment, I was super excited and a bit nervous. I got the green light after a few days of interviews, personality tests, and lots of conversations with some really cool people. God got me though it, and I was pumped.
But then there was that big number I was given and told I needed to raise in order to go. Every time I shared with others the amount that needed to be raised, I was met with shocked and worried expressions. This, in turn, made the number even bigger in my mind. I had a goal date in mind of when I would depart for Togo, and the time I had to raise the funds seemed too little. I felt often that I wouldn’t reach it in time. But that was my problem. I kept thinking I needed to raise this money and that it would take so long to raise it because I kept forgetting that really God was the only one who could do it.
During the months of partnership development, I set small goals to reach and prayed fervently for them. Time and time again God provided more than I expected. This season of preparation and partnership development has been so important in my walk with Christ. I am so thankful for the faithful supporters God has provided and I look forward to seeing how God uses the growth from this season during my time in Togo.”
