2 Year Residencies

Do you feel like God has called you to be a part of reaching the unreached around the world? Our 2-year residency program gives real hands-on ministry experience as you navigate your next steps in missions.

This program focuses on personal and spiritual development, continued education with Kairos University, and cross-cultural experience starting from the time you begin the onboarding process, your two-year stint on the ground, to the debriefing process afterwards. 

We are seeking individuals who: 

  • Are college aged or older. 

  • Have a personal relationship with Christ and are faithful students of His word.  

  • Have a heart for those without Christ. 

  • Demonstrates and desires spiritual growth and mentorship. 

  • Are highly teachable with a willingness to participate in deep conversations and an eagerness to learn. 

  • Desires to grow spiritually, personally, and emotionally.

Activities could include, but also not limited to:

  • Embed in the culture and see the historical realities that give the history of Voodoo. Visit the local markets to see what day-to-day life looks like for this community. 

  • Visit the location of the founding church, and hear the history of the 6 Degree Initiative, as well as visit recently planted church plants. You’ll then plug into one specific church plant for the duration of your residency. 

  • Become conversational in French through private tutoring and discipleship relationships

  • We know that God has given you your own set of gifts and abilities and we will work with you personally to see how those can be specifically applied during your residency / in a certain project. 

  • In the beginning there will be opportunities to observe discipleship in a small group setting with a few Togolese leaders diving into God’s word together. Once you are able to communicate in French there will be additional opportunities to lead.

  • In work projects and ministry opportunities. 

  • Observe and participate in weekly and monthly team strategy meetings to see the process of debriefing the current ministry, praying, and strategizing what the Lord would have us do next. Play a part in helping the team carry out the activities of short term teams/trips and our internship programs. Enjoy fun evenings together to share a meal and fellowship as a team.
